3. Eligibility: The City Guide WIN NYC 2016 WEEKLY SWEEPSTAKES ("Sweepstakes") is open only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and who are travelling to New York City on a leisure or business trip within six months of the weekly drawing in which they enter. However, any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six (6) months, performed services for Sponsor, Administrator, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, prize providing/sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes (including but not limited to travelchannel.com, cheapoair.com and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies (collectively, the “Promotion Entities”), and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses, regardless of where they live. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year, whether related or not. Residents of New York City are not eligible.  Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
     

4. Sweepstakes Entry: The Sweepstakes begins on or about noon (12pm) Eastern Time (“ET”) on Friday, December 18, 2015 and ends at noon (12:00 pm) ET on Friday, December 30, 2016 (“Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes. Fourty-one (41) separate and distinct Weekly Sweepstakes Entry Periods (also referred to as “Weekly Periods”) comprise the Promotion Period, as set forth in the chart below.

To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Promotion Period, eligible individuals (“Entrants”) must go to  www.CityGuideNY.com (“Website”) and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the online entry form, agree to these Official Rules, and submit their entry (“Entry”). Entrant must fully complete the online entry form by truthfully providing the following: Entrant’s first and last name, email address, "stated date of arrival" for their upcoming NYC trip and permission (via a pre-checked box) to be on our email list (which communicates NYC things-to-do/offers/coupons before, during and after their trip). There will be Optional Questions for the Entrant to complete on the second half of the entry, that will help them being better served but will not affect chances of winning.
      

Participation in Sweepstakes and acceptance of prize constitutes each winner’s permission for Sponsor to use his/her name, address (city and state), likeness, photograph, picture, portrait, voice, biographical information, and/or any statements made by each winner regarding the Sweepstakes or Sponsor for advertising and promotional purposes without notice or additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Such permission will be confirmed by potential winner upon Sponsor’s request and potential winner agrees to timely complete, sign and deliver any and all necessary documents, including without limitation, documents setting forth any licenses, releases and indemnities that Sponsor in its sole discretion may require, without condition or compensation of any kind. Sponsor’s failure to receive all documentation from all individuals within the prescribed timeframe, in each instance as required by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will result in the disqualification of the entry and the selection of another entry as a potential winner.
      

Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address/per year. NYC residents are NOT eligible to win a prize in the Sweepstakes.  You may only use one (1) email account to participate in the Sweepstakes. Multiple entries and/or mass entry attempts will result in disqualification of all entries by such person/email address. Entries must be manually key-stroked by the Entrant; use of automated entry devices or programs, or entries by third parties by any method of entry, are prohibited. Entries that do not conform to or that violate these Official Rules or are submitted in any manner other than stated in these Official Rules will be disqualified. Sponsor, Prize providers/Partners and Administrator will not be responsible for late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries. Proof of submission of entry does not constitute proof of receipt of same. All entries must be completed on the form at CityGuideNY.com in their entirety prior to expiration of Promotion Period. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator and Sponsor, which are binding and final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
      

If you opt to access the Website on your wireless mobile device using your carrier’s network (as opposed to a Wi-Fi network), your carrier’s data rates may apply according to the terms and conditions of your service agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may also apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges as well as charges for wireless Internet access) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. 5. Random Drawings/Selection of Winners: Potential prize winners will be selected via a series of random drawings, with each drawing to occur on or about the day following  the conclusion of each Weekly Period from among all eligible entries received during a particular Weekly Period. All non-winning entries from any Weekly Period will NOT be carried forward to subsequent Weekly Period(s). All first drawings will be conducted by an automated computer program. Winner will also be notified by this same program and prompted to sign a winner release, which will then trigger the digital distribution of the prize “Prize Vouchers” to the Winner. All steps will be monitored by the Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes.
      

6. Prizes, Approximate Retail Values (“ARV”) and Weekly Prizes (41 winners, 1 per Weekly Period): Each Weekly Prize  winner will receive one (1) of each of the following:

ARV of Weekly Prize: $1,000
     

Prizes will be awarded in the form of promotional vouchers via email. Some prize providers may require winner to visit "will call" prior to the show to collect winner’s voucher/ticket.  Each prize vouchers will expire two (2) weeks from the "stated date of arrival" in NYC, provided at time of entry unless otherwise indicated on the voucher. Once expired, vouchers are void and may not be redeemed or replaced. Additional terms and conditions may apply on vouchers and/or on products/services for which vouchers may be redeemed.
     

Odds of winning the prize for a given Weekly Period depend on total number of eligible entries received during that Weekly Period. Winner is not entitled to exchange or transfer prize or to obtain cash or other substitutes (except to the extent required by law) and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value if the prize as listed is unavailable for any reason. Prize will only be delivered to the email account provided by Entrant at time of Entry. Exact dates, times and terms of the prize to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Blackout dates and other restrictions may apply. All expenses and incidental costs not expressly stated in the description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, surcharges, fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges, security fees, taxes or other expenses are the responsibility solely of winner.  Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen vouchers, tickets, or certificates.  All federal, state and local taxes (if any) due on the receipt and/or redemption of prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor will comply with all tax reporting obligations as may be required by law, including issuing IRS 1099s to winners in the United States. Limit of one (1) Weekly Prize per person/family/household/email address.
     

7. Winner Notification: Potential weekly winner will be contacted by email, after each week’s random drawing.  Failure to respond to the initial verification notice within forty-eight (48) hours after notification or return of email notification as undeliverable after three (3) attempts will result in disqualification. Potential winner will be required to digitally sign and return within three (3) business days, an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification, and a Publicity Release where allowed by law (“Winner Documents”). If the Winner Documents are not returned to Sponsor within specified time period (if applicable), potential winner may be disqualified. If potential winner is disqualified, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected from all remaining non-winning eligible entries received during the applicable Sweepstakes Period. In the event of any dispute concerning the identity of any entrant, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the natural person who is the authorized holder of the transmitting email account used to participate in the Promotion. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
     

8. Conditions and Limitations of Liability: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Promotion Entities, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives and each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance, receipt, possession or use/misuse of any prize, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes-related activity, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.  None of the Released Parties is responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that winners might incur as a result of this Sweepstakes or receipt of prize.  By accepting a prize, entrants and winners also authorize the Sponsor and its designees to use their name, voice, likeness, photograph, prize information (if applicable), biographical data and city and state of residence in programming, advertising and/or promotional material or on a winners’ list (if applicable) without compensation to the extent permitted by law.
