Winter Rhythms: An Evening of Latin American Music
Join us for an evening of music from Latin America! Marilyn Castillo, a Mexican American singer-songwriter, brings us her original music and gorgeous covers, exploring how she became a Chicana en Nueva York. Then we'll hear classics from across Latin America, including tango, boleros, and salsa, with Sofia Tosello and Yuri Juarez on voice and guitar. Both acts are much-requested members of our touring outreach program, and have performed both virtually and in-person for various libraries and senior centers around NYC for Urban Stages.
