Join us as we come together on the 5th of June to celebrate the World Environment Day and the start of the World Oceans Week. This gathering features diverse programming highlighting United Nations partnerships, organizations, impact focused initiatives and artists from around the world.

The event program will be segmented into 3 parts - daytime youth segment / talks, panels, networking, and dinner / evening celebration. The event is organized to celebrate a series of occasions:

About World Environment Day (June 5th)

World Environment Day 2022 is the biggest international day for the environment. Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and held annually since 1974, it has grown to be the largest global platform for environmental outreach. It is celebrated by millions of people across the world. This year's World Environment Day's campaign slogan is “Only One Earth", with the focus on “Living Sustainably in Harmony with Nature”.

About World Oceans Day (June 8th)

​​This year’s United Nations World Oceans Day, on 8 June 2022, will highlight the theme Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean. The ocean connects, sustains, and supports us all. Yet its health is at a tipping point and so is the well-being of all that depends on it. As the past years have shown us, we need to work together to create a new balance with the ocean that no longer depletes its bounty but instead restores its vibrancy and brings it new life. Join us in celebrating this year's theme through our "Collective Action for the Ocean" with various events taking place throughout the World Oceans Week.
