Christmas at the Met
Music Director Malcolm J. Merriweather will conduct The Dessoff Choirs, soloists, and orchestra in a performance of Margaret Bonds’s beautiful cantata, The Ballad of the Brown King, along with works by jazz great Mary Lou Williams, including St. Martin de Porres, from her remarkable 1964 album Black Christ of the Andes.
And, of course, there will be a few holiday carols for audience participation!
