Drawn Together: Town Hall on Artists’ Contracts
Hosted by Mira Dayal, Anaïs Duplan, Maia Chao, Yxta Maya Murray, and Simon Wu
Drawn Together is a collaborative ongoing project at Cuchifritos Gallery focused on addressing and repairing the contractual relationships between artists, art workers, and art institutions. After conducting conversations with constituents of the gallery during an exhibition this spring, the artists and curators developed a set of recommendations for creating more fair and equitable contracts. In this virtual town hall, the artists and curators will discuss their findings and invite feedback on a proposed publication that artists and institutions could use to troubleshoot and remedy contractual relationships.
[Zoom link will be distributed to those who RSVP]
