A Wine Dinner Featuring The Wine & Food of Piedmont
Babbo’s famous wine dinners return on Thursday, October 21st. Wine director Juan Pablo Escobar will feature wines from the Piedmont region of Northwest Italy, to be paired with warming and hearty dishes prepared by Executive Chef Youjin Jung.
There is nothing more Piedmontese than Barolo, but guests will also taste Erbaluce, Vespolina and a wine from the DOCG Dogliani. Plus, they are going to see why one the greatest Barolo producers, G.D. Vajra chose to pioneer the renaissance of the grape Freisa. Both his Barolo and his Freisa will be paired with the Piedmontese classic dish Brasato al Barolo.
