NEW WINDOW - NYC Immersive Visual Experience from GIPHY launching on 12/20
GIPHY will open a free visual experience called NEW WINDOW — a unique and immersive take on the typical New York City “holiday window” featuring new work from artist Sam Cannon.
Part looping art installation and part window display, the experience uses specialized screens that render video invisible to the naked eye, but when viewed through suspended “windows” the film and a “visible whirlwind of emotion” are revealed. The exhibition is coming to an empty storefront in New York’s Lower East Side and will be viewable 24 hours a day, but will be especially enjoyable at night.
