NYC's oldest library with facilities for reading, reference, exhibitions, and many events. The landmark building houses roughly 300,000 volumes, reading rooms, study spaces, a children's library, and an exhibition gallery. Mon., Wed., Fri. & Sat., 9am-5pm; Tues. & Thurs., 9am-7pm; Sun., 1-5pm.
