Baruch College serves over 17,000 students on its culturally vibrant campus. Baruch hosts a large number of cultural and entertainment events in four theaters on the Baruch College campus, mostly in the Newman Vertical Campus building (1 Bernard Baruch Way, aka 55 Lexington Ave.). The box office and audience entrance is on 25th Street between Third and Lexington Avenues. The institution’s mission is to bring a variety of cultural events to the college and the community at large. They host theater, contemporary dance, chamber music, jazz concerts, film screenings, and lectures and panels on the arts and sciences.

In Mason Hall (17 Lexington Ave., entrance on 23rd Street, the college’s large auditorium) they have had concerts, ballet, and the Moscow Art Theater. Mason Hall has even been the host venue to the early rounds of the Mayoral debates leading up to the election of Mayor de Blasio. During the opening week of the UN General Assembly Mason Hall was the host venue for presidential addresses from the presidents of the Philippines and the Ivory Coast.
