Need a way to warm up quickly this winter? Then head to one of these six New York City happy hours. From a wine bar to a chowder house to an arcade-filled dive, these five NYC bars liven up the Manhattan landscape and offer some of the city’s best deals during the country’s coldest months. Cheers to that!

Best of NYC Happy Hours: Barcade (Chelsea)

Barcade

Barcade is one of New York City’s most unique bars, filled with retro videogames and arcade machines that patrons are allowed to play on. Their happy hour occurs from noon until 7pm, Monday through Friday, and it includes $1 off beer, wine, and well drinks. The real deal, however, is the Fisherman’s Brew and Four Roses Shot for $10, which will leave you feeling giddy (and ready to game) in no time. 148 W. 24th St., 212-390-8455, barcadenewyork.com

Best of NYC Happy Hours: Gleason’s Tavern (Midtown West)

Gleason's Tavern

Can’t make it off work in time for the average happy hour timeframe? Not to worry, because Gleason’s Tavern has your back. While there’s no “official happy hour” here, they do offer beer and wine for $6 each between midnight and 2am. As for their draft list, it’s extensive, containing 14 different beers that range from Belgian Pale Ales to German Pilsners. 206 W. 41st St., 212-302-2167, gleasonstavern.com

Best of NYC Happy Hours: Ten Degrees Bar (East Village)

Ten Degrees Bar

This small wine bar has one of the longest happy hours we’ve heard of, lasting from noon until 8pm, seven days a week. As for the deal? It’s also something that’s hard to beat. Drinks come at a two-for-one price per person. Also, just because this is a wine bar, don’t think that’s all the menu entails. Beer and specialty cocktails are included in the happy hour deal, so you can be sipping on a Tom Collins, Mojito, Lemon Drop Martini, or Moscow Mule while you take advantage of the happy hour. 121 St. Marks Pl., 212-358-8600, 10degreesbar.com

Best of NYC Happy Hours: China Grill (Midtown West)

China Grill

If you’re looking for your not-so-typical Happy Hour in NYC, China Grill offers an array of Asian fusion “bar bites” and inventive cocktails between 4pm and 7pm, Monday through Friday. The Dragon Fries (Japanese sweet potato, kabocha, shimeji mushrooms, Asian aioli), Peking Duck Bao Sliders (wild mushroom, cucumber, radish, hoisin), and Spicy Beef Dumplings (soy ginger) each come in at under $10. When it comes to cocktails, the China Blossom and Lychee Martini have us asking for seconds every time. 60 W. 53rd St., 212-333-7788, chinagrillrestaurant.com

Benjamin Prime

Benjamin Steakhouse, the 2016 Concierge Choice Awards winner for steak, has spun off New York’s newest steakhouse destination. Benjamin Prime combines modern elegance with traditional steakhouse classics. Stop by from 4pm to 7pm on any weekday to take advantage of a happy hour menu that includes $1.50 oysters and half-priced glasses of champagne to wash it all down.
