Midtown Super Bowl Viewing

Family owned in Hell’s Kitchen for over 25 years. Mercury Bar (659 Ninth Ave.) offers tasty comfort food, signature cocktails, and even a vegetarian/vegan menu.  They'll have the Super Bowl going Sunday on 17 large-screen TVs. Friendly, expert bartenders can mix and serve any drink, ranging  from fine whiskies, cognacs, and classic liquors to import and domestic beers.

Houston Hall

The rustic design and soaring ceilings of Houston Hall (222 W Houston St.) create a perfect backdrop for watching a spectacular sporting event. Houston Hall will show the Super Bowl Sunday pre/post game and main event on 12-foot screens. The lively crowd digs into empanadas, Southern-fried dill pickle spears, wings, burgers, bratwurst, and jumbo Bavarian pretzels with warm cheddar ale dip. Signature cocktails include Espresso Martinis and Moscow Mules, joined by a variety of craft beers on tap, with seasonal specials and plenty of lagers, ales, and even a hazy IPA.

Brooklyn Bowl (61 Wythe Ave,) in Williamsburg adds 16 lanes of bowling, locally crafted beers, and food by the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant group to a Super Bowl Sunday outing. Look for an epic Super Bowl viewing party with full concert sound across 14 HD screens. The kitchen will turn out hearty fried chicken dinners, cheesy nachos, and "rock n' roll fries," topped with chicken gravy, Cajun spice, provolone, and cheddar.

Game On? Game On

There's a new recreation spot in the Seaport. Games at Lawn Club (1 Fulton St.) include Bocce, Cornhole, Croquet, Shuffleboard, Beersbee, Kan Jam, and its own exclusive Putting Pool. Dedicated "Lawncierges" facilitate the fun and there are also two bars for food and drink and big-screen TVs. For the Super Bowl, your crew can take over a private lawn and watch the game (6-10pm).  Big Game Packages include a private space, dedicated Lawncierge, dedicated flatscreen TV, access to the full suite of games, bottomless beer and seltzer, and a game-day spread that includes mini lobster rolls, wings, mini pizza bagels, pigs in a blanket.

Big Game Platters and Beer Specials

Clinton Hall will be offering Super Bowl specials at their locations in FiDi (90 Washington St.), on W. 36th Street (16 W. 36th Street) and E. 51st Street (230 E. 51st) and in the Bronx (601 E. 189th St.). SUPERCRAFT beer, hard seltzers, and a full bar bites menu curated by Executive Chef Anastacia Song will be available. For the ultimate game day experience, dive into NFL Playoff Platters featuring wings, sliders, waffle fries, nachos, and onion rings, priced at $25 for two people, $50 for four, $75 for six, and $100 for eight. Larger groups can opt for NFL Playoff Pitchers, available at $21, $31 for craft beer.

The Super Bowl on One of the City's Biggest Screens

Immerse yourself in the action at Slate (54 W. 21st St.), which will have the Super Bowl on its gargantuan 15-foot LED HD Video Wall in the Main Lounge (sound will be on for both the game and the commercials). Food and drink specials will be available. The Main Bar features three additional large HD screens, the Lobby Bar has another four, and there are 14 downstairs. Indulgent Super Bowl Platters

Celebrate the Super Bowl at Haven Rooftop, atop the Sanctuary Hotel at 132 W. 47th St. in Midtown. The event begins at 4pm with TVs tuned in and sound on for the pre-game. Platters and beer buckets are joined by house favorites like sliders, tuna tartare, Buffalo wings, branzino, and steak au poivre with peppercorn sauce.

East Side Watch Party

Sapphire 60 (333 E. 60th St) kicks things off with a first-half open bar, joined by a tailgate-style buffet and entertainment like game-day pools. Tickets start at $50, or you can elevate your experience with VIP suites, bottle packages, and dancers.

To enjoy Chiefs-Niners rinkside, head to The Lodge at Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park. A bar, big screen, and food hall await (as do skating and bumper cars if the game is a blowout).

 

Rooftop Highlights

Elevate the big day at 230 Fifth, located at 1150 Broadway in Nomad, The rooftop bar boasts indoor and outdoor spaces that allow you to catch the game while enjoying panoramic views of the city skyline. This 21-and-over venue is offering a ticketed Super Bowl Sunday party package, with admission (before processing fees) starting at $17.85 for admission only (no drinks or food included), or starting at about $66 for admission (first-come, first-serve seating), 2 beer or wine tickets, and buffet access. 

Have a Blast in Hell's Kitchen

With 25 70-inch TV screens and 27 beers on tap, Daltons (611 9th Ave.) is an ideal spot to catch the big game. Situated in Hell’s Kitchen, the lively pub (often decked out with NFL flags) offer reservations through Resy for tables, and a first-come, first-serve bar.

Brooklyn Extravaganza

Bk Backyard Bar hosts their third-annual Big Game Sunday Extravaganza, bringing the spirit of Sin City to NYC. Can't-miss activations include The Puppy Bowl Live hosted by none other than Dan Schachner (the seasoned ruff-aree from Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl), live performances, DJ sets, open bars, activations from sponsors (think a Valentine’s Rose Pop-Up by Greg’s Trees), and a Super Bowl watch party that rivals the Vegas Strip.

Grand Central Game Day

Popular bar chain Stout has multiple locations near transit hubs across Midtown, but the outpost adjacent to Grand Central (60 E. 41st St.) is the only one with spots currently remaining for Super Bowl Sunday. Call to book an advance reservation package (starting at $65 per person including food and drinks), or get there early (the bar opens at noon) to snag a spot at the wraparound bar, which is always first-come, first serve. Once you’re settled, take your pick of gourmet spins on game-day menu favorites, from chicken wings to Bavarian pretzels.

Blondies Has More Fun

Blondies Sports (212 W. 79th St.), a woman-owned sports bar on the Upper West Side, is a neighborhood favorite for its pub fare, high-energy atmosphere, and friendly service. It’s also a favorite for game days, and although advance reservations are booked for Super Bowl Sunday (you can call to get on the waitlist), you can try snagging a seat at the bar by arriving well in advance of the 5:30pm kickoff.
