Crisis: An Improvised Comic Book - The PIT Loft
February 12, 2018 - New York

All the audience members of the world will look up and shout "Save us!" and we'll look down and whisper "Yes and." CRISIS: AN IMPROVISED COMIC BOOK is half improv comedy and half superhero serial with the strengths of both worlds but none of their weaknesses. CRISIS asks their audience to be the Uncle Ben to their Peter Parker and inspire them... with a one-word suggestion the team uses to make up the extraordinary story of a brand new hero in the style of reading an issue of a comic book. Each CRISIS show also features a guest team who has been selected by THE YESANDER (the Beyonder of the Comediverse) to perform in improv's SECRET FORMS- improv sets which incorporate challenges based on tropes and stylistic elements from comic books. CRISIS performs regularly in NYC and has been part of festivals in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, and Pennsylvania. Check them out on Facebook and Twitter for more information about upcoming shows, True Believers!
