This will be a multimedia storytelling event celebrating Halloween, horror, and the talents of nearly a dozen amazing authors. The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) celebrates Halloween with Spooky Fest. This family friendly event will take place 7 days in October (13, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28) from 6:30pm- 9:30pm at the Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville Centre, Long Island. Sixteen acres are transformed into a family friendly, Halloween event. Wooded paths, exhibits, and festivities on the preserve will be featured, with eerie lighting, special effects, and characters along the way. Everything is perfectly spooky and a little scary. Creatures of all kinds inhabit the woods, the strange and beautiful will draw you into the eerie paths!

Halloween Harvest - Luna Park

Ahoy, me Hearties! It’s nearly time to experience all the thrills, chills and Halloween frills during Luna Park’s fifth-annual pirate-themed Halloween Harvest in Coney Island. The park will hum with festive seasonal activities to celebrate autumn on weekends from September 29th through October 28th. In addition to nonstop rides and candy, this year’s Halloween Harvest will also feature plenty of spooktacular entertainment including its newest addition, Tillie’s Tractor— riders can hop on a tractor and race throughout the park to find their treasure!
